Everyday Blessings

Silent Retreat

Nov 13-17, 2024

Awaken to your life and find what is sacred.

Nov 13-17, Denmark

Live life as a blessing

Don't wait. Life is short. Too often we say we will be happy when...we get a new job, get fitter, have a baby, meet a partner, buy a home. We spend our lives in a flurry of busy-ness that robs us of connecting with just how extraordinary it is to be here, in this moment. We resist the everyday and what it can teach us.

Spirituality is something that is cultivated in everyday moments. Getting the kids to school, working to a deadline, holding the hand of someone you love who is ill. Our daily lives can be sacred.

It was a life-affirming, joyful experience that I'm truly grateful for, and I will remember for a long time to come.

It has refocused my energy, so I have more capacity to show loving-kindness towards the people I encounter in my home, work and social life.

The daily rhythm details...

Arrive Wednesday anytime from 3pm. Settle in to the beauty of The Cove, Denmark. Wake to a cup of tea under the towering trees of the ancient forrest. Begin your day with meditation and breathwork. Each morning we share a simple morning mantra and ritual that you can bring back with you into your everyday life. Then there is time for a longer asana practice.

After breakfast you are guided by Rob to cultivate a deeper intimacy with our inner world through meditation and introspection.

Afternoons include restorative yoga and a guided meditative walk with Kerry and Tricia. Following dinner is a time for reflection on the path, meditation and an introduction to a simple evening routine and mantra to bring home with you.

Accommodation is in lovingly built chalets where the forrest meets the waters of the Wilson Inlet. Rooms are either twin share, or between 3 to 5 people.

Food is by the team at Sunny Peach kitchen. Jess, the owner will share with us inspirations on how to bring joy into the everyday preparation of meals, introducing us to her philosophy before we move into silence. Breakfasts, dinners, lunches snacks and tea included. Everything is gluten free, vegetarian, with vegan options.
